The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano got control of the ball when Peter Örtendal tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Örtendal in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Catapano saved Mata Tangas de Victoria from getting behind. Czeslaw Czajkowski struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fabrizio Catapano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åstäppa FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Örtendal in the 14th minute of play forced Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Catapano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 15th minute. Czeslaw Czajkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Catapano having to make a save. In the 19th match minute, Mata Tangas de Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Quinten to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Mata Tangas de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Henri-Xavier Lenaerts. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Czeslaw Czajkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åstäppa FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Czajkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrizio Catapano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Mata Tangas de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Czajkowski came free, but Fabrizio Catapano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Roland threw the ball into play from the sideline. Åstäppa FK's Oliver Apelqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fabrizio Catapano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Örtendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Fabrizio Catapano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Örtendal in the 78th minute of play. Peter Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Åstäppa FK's attentive Sven-Erik Lindman managed to snatch the ball when Hermengildo Roland made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Peter Örtendal made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Catapano. Mata Tangas de Victoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 90 minutes into the game, Pascual Stanislao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mata Tangas de Victoria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åstäppa FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mata Tangas de Victoria's Pascual Stanislao got a free kick in the 90th minute. Åstäppa FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
