Isaltino Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Santin in the 14th minute of the match. Isaltino Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Santin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Tierras altas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dário Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Senna in the 36th minute of play forced Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Danone CC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Santin to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dário Mesquita got free with Antonio Natal in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Velloso. After 59 minutes, Jeremias Velloso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Neron in the 62nd minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Velloso took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Natal. Antonio Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Dário Mesquita came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antonio Natal could save by the left post. After 93 minutes of play, Danone CC's Jeremias Velloso made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Natal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Danone CC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
