After 4 played minutes Arsenal de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Patrizio Trabjerglund. Angelino Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Bazan in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Francisco Daigle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Angelino Donio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiktor Dudkowski made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hector Izel sent off a good shot on target. Angelino Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Chowaniec in the 19th minute of play. Angelino Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Bazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Naumowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Angelino Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Ponce in the 24th minute of play. Angelino Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Bazan in the 25th minute of the match. When Ovando Vera came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the MKS Pogoń Szczecin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovando Vera couldn't finish the play. Angelino Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Li Xu Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Alfred Naumowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Izel made a kick off. Angelino Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Ponce in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Ponce came free, but Angelino Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, MKS Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Daigle to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MKS Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Tadeo Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Dudkowski came out of the goal and Tadeo Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Arsenal de Sarandi booed when MKS Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Naumowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Arsenal de Sarandi's Angelino Donio got control of the ball when Radomir Bazan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when Arsenal de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrizio Trabjerglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Ponce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Donio. In the 83rd minute MKS Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Ignacy Rzegotka went to the cornerflag to take it. Miguel Ferrando hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Donio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Radomir Bazan sent off a good shot on target. Arsenal de Sarandi's Angelino Donio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. MKS Pogoń Szczecin played a much better game than Arsenal de Sarandi and deserved their victory. The Arsenal de Sarandi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
