After a rather tough play, CA Juventud Unida's Jesús Banana got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Usain Bolt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, CA Juventud Unida's goal looked a bit too open when Usain Bolt came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Petrigai succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 31st playminute. With a little luck, Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu got control of the ball when Rainer Marthaler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The crowd rose to their feet as Usain Bolt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil Arendarski. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. Result 2-2. 88 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, CA Juventud Unida's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Erramu came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Wojno, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Rainer Marthaler took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Potocianu. Constantin Potocianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Juventud Unida had won after a very even match.
