In the 3rd minute of the game Andrea Pirlo made a throw-in which Indiana Jones played forward. Romakloster IFK's Göran Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Jyrki Sillanpää shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Feliciano Haritzeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göran Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Romakloster IFK's Göran Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Pirlo in the 9th minute of play. Göran Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Haritzeder in the 13th minute of play forced Romakloster IFK's goalkeeper Göran Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Romakloster IFK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sören Trillkott hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Feliciano Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Jyrki Sillanpää ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göran Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Feliciano Haritzeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göran Holmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 38 minutes into the game, Indiana Jones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Göran Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demy Ottens shot a long shot in the 42nd minute and a light blocked Göran Holmgren hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-8. Klas Åström's late challenge caught a Los Hijos de Doña Beija's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klas Åström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Romakloster IFK's Klas Åström got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Demy Ottens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Göran Holmgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Hijos de Doña Beija reached it. The Romakloster IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were winning 0-9.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jyrki Sillanpää to strike the kick off in the second half. Göran Holmgren came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones. But to his dismay, Indiana Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 57 minutes into the match, Romakloster IFK's Niclas Burman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Aguilera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Indiana Jones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Osvald Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Romakloster IFK defense, Venancio Sandaili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göran Holmgren. The Romakloster IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göran Holmgren should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha was substituted for Indiana Jones. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Jyrki Sillanpää took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Göran Holmgren to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 77 minutes, Albino Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Brion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos de Doña Beija's zone, Osvald Skålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Aguilera came out of the goal and Osvald Skålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fábio Rocha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Göran Holmgren 81 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jyrki Sillanpää in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Holmgren saved Romakloster IFK from getting behind. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Feliciano Haritzeder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göran Holmgren. That made the score 0-18 after 92 minutes of play. Göran Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 99th minute of play. The Romakloster IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
