The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Codrin Zdrobău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leontin Ilieș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Borges in the 6th minute of the match. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Leontin Ilieș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Borges in the 8th minute of play. Leontin Ilieș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Zawadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ѕєηαтσякσвяα's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillaume Uytebroeck in the 13th minute. Stefan Zawadzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Ilieș having to interfere. When Angelo Borges came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ѕєηαтσякσвяα fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Borges couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Stefan Zawadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Stefan Zawadzki put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Ilieș. 47 minutes into the match, ѕєηαтσякσвяα's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Marchetti came free, but Atak Üke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Zawadzki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Leontin Ilieș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ninjas in Pyjamas from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute ѕєηαтσякσвяα were awarded a corner. Guillaume Uytebroeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Doğaner Tarık kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rilind Mena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rilind Mena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atak Üke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Stefan Zawadzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Denis Albulescu. When Codrin Zdrobău fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas in Pyjamas's protests and gave Codrin Zdrobău a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Codrin Zdrobău hit a great ball. Doğaner Tarık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Leontin Ilieș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leontin Ilieș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Zawadzki in the 75th minute. Angelo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Zawadzki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Ilieș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Leontin Ilieș made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Angelo Borges sent off a good shot on target. The ѕєηαтσякσвяα supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ѕєηαтσякσвяα would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
