Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilge Kağan Samih in the 36th minute of play. If Bilge Kağan Samih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nouvelle Vague were furious when Paulo Renato Corrêa was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 44 minutes into the game, one of Nouvelle Vague:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vicky Donda had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Bilge Kağan Samih's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Ugutz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Dennis Baggio with Filippo Bozzelli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Supremacy Catania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Barillari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Supremacy Catania FC had won after a very even match.
