When Klement Belko came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Knight Of Dawn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klement Belko couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teta Grande in the 11th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knight Of Dawn were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Pindorama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Porfírio Quirino took the corner. The corner ended in Porfírio Quirino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte did a great save. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pindorama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Porfírio Quirino was slow to take the kick. During this time Knight Of Dawn's players had a chance to rest. Knight Of Dawn's Klement Belko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hortêncio Duarte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hortêncio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teta Grande went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nelsinho Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Denis Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teta Grande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Pindorama's Mané Bezerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Urtats. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Teta Grande made a precise shot to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. Pindorama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 40th minute Teta Grande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pindorama's Douglas Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Teta Grande made a precise shot to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. Pindorama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Meira to strike the kick off in the second half. Teta Grande scored 1-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Duarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teta Grande showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 58 minute of play. Pindorama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Teta Grande scored to the left of an out of position Hortêncio Duarte, making the score, 1-6. Knight Of Dawn's Danilo Matro was substituted for Klement Belko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teta Grande in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Duarte saved Pindorama from getting behind. In the 74th minute of the match, Danilo Matro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hortêncio Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Teta Grande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hortêncio Duarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Teta Grande slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 76th minute. After 83 played minutes Knight Of Dawn got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Caton. Douglas Dionísio got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agnaldo Massa. Gregorio Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Duarte having to interfere. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Yuan Jun in the 94th minute of play.
