Gilberto Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ágætis Byrjun's Ditlev Delmont managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alf Runeberg in the 27 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Nick Heesen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Santoro. Eugenio Santoro came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen. But to his dismay, Nick Heesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Urbs LC's Gilberto Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Heesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Urbs LC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ladislao Cordarius was slow to take the kick. During this time Ágætis Byrjun's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ágætis Byrjun's Ladislao Cordarius to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Santoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Heesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Gilberto Hats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Georg Hagberg made a huge save. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ágætis Byrjun from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, Urbs LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Lusi to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Cordarius, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Urbs LC's Bernardo Testa got a free kick in the 62nd minute.
