Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Nisio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute of the match, Ryan Keuppens tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rey Acitores saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 16th minute of play. Leonard Popowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Nayely having to make a save. Ruperto Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Popowicz in the 20th minute of the match. Rafael Nisio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rey Acitores having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Nisio in the 22nd minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rafael Nisio sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Ambrosio Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Nisio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rey Acitores made a huge save. In the 38th minute of the match Pendex got a corner. APOELHELLAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gogo Crescencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Nelson de Brito managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rey Acitores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Nisio in the 42nd minute. Rafael Nisios short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Rey Acitores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Nisio got free with Rey Acitores in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Nisio to make the kick off. Rey Acitores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Rafael Nisio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rey Acitores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ruperto Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sang Gama in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Leonard Popowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Nisio in the 70th minute of play. Sang Gama kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, APOELHELLAS's Sang Gama got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Pendex's goalkeeper Ruperto Nayely had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Popowicz. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Bembe in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, APOELHELLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sang Gama to maneuver through the defense. Rey Acitores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Rey Acitores came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Pendex's Antonio Inguma. But to his dismay, Antonio Inguma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 93 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Crescencio came free, but Rey Acitores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Pendex got a freekick which was hit by You Ting. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pendex had won after a very even match.
