Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Burnley FC from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Svennis Grabbar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Hatman came free, but Tony Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Henriksson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristoforo Capuozzi. In the 86th minute Antônio Carlos Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Svennis Grabbar FF's corner Daniel Svensson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dave Falcioni quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Svennis Grabbar FF booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Svennis Grabbar FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
