LEBRON's Agustin Marchesan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save LEBRON from getting a goal against them. The LEBRON fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when LEBRON's Ariel Lopez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, LEBRON's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Proietti came free, but Agustin Marchesan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute LEBRON were awarded a corner. Lautaro Acosta went to the cornerflag to take it. Lautaro Acosta hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Casado in the 38th minute of play. Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Falcioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Lopez's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lautaro Acosta to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Lopez came free, but Dave Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Gómez got free with Dave Falcioni in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Casado took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. LEBRON's Evaristo Balesio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Zeciu, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Ariel Lopez took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Txanton in the 67th minute of play. Agustin Marchesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Loreto in the 70th minute of the match. Nestor Casado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Carnevale in the 72nd minute of play forced LEBRON's goalkeeper Agustin Marchesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Acosta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Dave Falcioni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute of the match LEBRON got a corner. Burnley FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lautaro Acosta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Burnley FC defense, Ariel Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Falcioni. The Burnley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Falcioni should have stopped the shot. After 87th play minutes Ariel Lopez shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Dave Falcioni and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match was over LEBRON could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Burnley FC throughout the match.
