But to his dismay, Russ Smee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stew Hicks in the 40th minute of play forced Zbytowa SSA's goalkeeper Edgar Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbytowa SSA's Edgar Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Lander in the 43rd minute of play.
