Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alemdar Baykut started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Alemdar Baykut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ieltxu Orbaneja, 1-0. In the 10th minute Alemdar Baykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ieltxu Orbaneja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Osmundo Puertas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara and the Burnley FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Osmundo Puertas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Burnley FC defense, Ádám Dobos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Falcioni. The Burnley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Falcioni should have stopped the shot. Ádám Dobos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dave Falcioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. Rodriguez Toresano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dave Falcioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ádám Dobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Ádám Dobos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A sloppy throw-in by Anthony Pietrantoni in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Fermín Gay. 53 minutes into the match, Ádám Dobos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave Falcioni. Burnley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ádám Dobos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 56th minute, Rodriguez Toresano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alemdar Baykut in the 59th minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Ieltxu Orbaneja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ieltxu Orbaneja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Capuozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ieltxu Orbaneja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Africano in the 70th minute of play. In the 80th minute Alemdar Baykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ieltxu Orbaneja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristoforo Capuozzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Burnley FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cristoforo Capuozzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ieltxu Orbaneja quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Burnley FC's Alemdar Baykut in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, Cristoforo Capuozzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Burnley FC's Alvise Africano got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Alvise Africano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After 94 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Africano.
