The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 13th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Edinson Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Edinson Haaland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Durval Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Edinson Haaland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Guerra. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinson Haaland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a little luck, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter got control of the ball when Dito Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dito Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Frank Frankfurter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 28th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Guerra came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland. But to his dismay, Edinson Haaland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37thth minute of the game Edinson Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Icoara Football Club's Durval Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Edinson Haaland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Durval Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Haaland in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Icoara Football Club's Dito Ramos made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Frankfurter was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Dito Ramos made the kick off in the second half. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edinson Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinson Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucjan Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Durval Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edinson Haaland in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes of play, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 66th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinson Haaland scored 1-7 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Yuan Ting Chao was substituted for Lu Zhan Jian. Durval Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Günther Doty cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Durval Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Günther Doty took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Guerra. Durval Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Günther Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 91st minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Iuri Ortiz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Roni Ronaldinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Guerra should have stopped the shot.
