In the 14th minute, Alfonso Goicoechea made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Manfredi. Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Erramu to maneuver through the defense. If Ernesto Martini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro in the 24th minute of play. Ernesto Martini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Caradaro in the 28th minute of play. Ciro Ferdinand hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Eugenio Manfredi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 36th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Joel Hibai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Club Atlético Atlanta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Francesco Romino replaced Walter Giusti. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Hibai in the 56th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Emil Chwalkiewicz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lunatics of Arianrhod. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francesco Romino in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Mugur Chiriac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Manfredi was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
