Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Martini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitinho Gaspar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Joel Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Hibai went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vitinho Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Martini in the 14th minute of play. Vitinho Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hibai in the 15th minute of play. If Flavio Morelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Hibai in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Joel Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lidice's Vitinho Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Martini in the 23rd minute of play. Vitinho Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hibai in the 30th minute of play. When Lunatics of Arianrhod's Joel Hibai in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lidice's goalie prevented a goal. Vitinho Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Joel Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vitinho Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Joel Hibai notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lidice's Vitinho Gaspar. Vitinho Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Kvarnström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute Joel Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Ernesto Martini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vitinho Gaspar. Ernesto Martini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 75th minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Fedele Panza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitinho Gaspar. Vitinho Gaspar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Rallo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Lidice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Rallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Joel Hibai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho Gaspar. Lidice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Hibai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Flavio Morelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Gaspar having to interfere. Vitinho Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Martini in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes of play Lidice's Arrigo Rallo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Arrigo Rallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Martini in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Gaspar saved Lidice from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Martini in the 97th minute of play forced Lidice's goalkeeper Vitinho Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Lunatics of Arianrhod could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lidice throughout the match.
