Jesus Sayveon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute Hristo Stoichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Cifuentes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Sayveon saved Athletico Picapedrense from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Hristo Stoichkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Athletico Picapedrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taltum FC the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Hristo Stoichkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Taltum FC's Jesus Sayveon threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavio Cifuentes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Cifuentes in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Sayveon saved Athletico Picapedrense from getting behind. Norbert Dabrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hristo Stoichkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Tufiño. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Zenon Klewinski replaced Orlondo Aguado. After a rather tough play, Athletico Picapedrense's Ali Ömer Ongu got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Obregón Pardemanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taltum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Obregón Pardemanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Sayveon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloi Fontanella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espinosa Marco in the 84th minute of play forced Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taltum FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andres Tufiño in the 86th minute. The corner led Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco to fire away a dangerous shot which Jesus Sayveon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mattias Wickander kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Eloi Fontanella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 90th minute of the match. Zhang Hao Qing was a little too slow when Eloi Fontanella got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-2.
