Herbert Wincek's late challenge caught a Chinese CJ Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Wincek helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Doffes Damer got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Wincek. Gabriel Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Gabriel Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gabriel Fanström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Günther Doty went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günther Doty in the 38th minute of the match. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's attentive Kjell Mattsson managed to snatch the ball when Franco Baresi made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Günther Doty made a kick off. In the 54th minute Inge Braa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günther Doty took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Fanström. Gabriel Fanström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Frankfurter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inge Braa went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Doffes Damer made a substitution. Knut Utfal replaced Inge Braa. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Wincek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Günther Doty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Fanström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Fanström. Gabriel Fanström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Knut Utfal put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Frankfurter. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
