But to his dismay, Ramón Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dmytro Novak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Miranda in the 8th minute. Dmytro Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dmytro Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Arce in the 9th minute of play. If Ramón Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Furtado in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Dmytro Novak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Miranda. In the 29th minute, Ramón Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Beto Teixeira. Itajaí Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şensoy Peyam hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Rubens Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dmytro Novak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Banaszak got free with Beto Teixeira in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flamengo FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
