Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernani Cavalcante got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osmar Marinho. In the 6th minute, Bin Shevchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Bin Shevchenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luiz Eduardo Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernani Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fábio Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Osmar Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aesir FC FSCMZ and the Blumenau Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Osmar Marinho hit a great ball. Blumenau Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nildo Dantas took the corner. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Severino Leme hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Marinho to maneuver through the defense. When Bin Shevchenko came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Blumenau Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bin Shevchenko couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bin Shevchenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Eduardo Veiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Aesir FC FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Bin Shevchenko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Eduardo Galvão came out and tried to block the shot, but Bin Shevchenko slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Bin Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Edvaldo de Toledo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Manoel de Amorim scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fábio Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute of the match Blumenau Esporte Clube got a corner. Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nildo Dantas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tales Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th match minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Marinho to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Mathias Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aesir FC FSCMZ and the Blumenau Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Aesir FC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Leite having to interfere. Mathias Varela made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ernesto Berger immediately put the ball in play. 95 minutes into the game, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Edvaldo de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Aesir FC FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blumenau Esporte Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Blumenau Esporte Clube.
