Carlos Leclerc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Alves in the 16th minute. Tadeu Prestes charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeu Prestes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tadeu Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Gernando Mineiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olímpico Blumenau FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. But to his dismay, Válbson Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jeremias Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Carlos Leclerc made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Soeiro came free, but Niek Molhoek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Mário Arce got a free kick in the 29th minute. Isaltino Siqueira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Leclerc was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Francisco da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olímpico Blumenau FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamilton Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco da Cunha made a kick off. Isaltino Siqueira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jeremias Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Carlos Alves in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Leclerc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falcão Soeiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Siqueira in the 70th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Leclerc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
