With an all-out effort, Floresta Negra FC's Dmytro Novak threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lokon Pøhl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Clemente Moura with Andy Cole as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 8 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Andy Cole. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Flamengo FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Flamengo FSCMZ's William Simão got a free kick in the 18th minute. The throw-in from William Simão in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Negra FC's Clemente Moura. The crowd rose to their feet as Andy Cole kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dmytro Novak. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 27th minute Filipe Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Areion Koulpasis in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Flamengo FSCMZ's William Simão. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flamengo FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lokon Pøhl was slow to take the kick. During this time Floresta Negra FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Floresta Negra FC's Lokon Pøhl to fire away a dangerous shot which Dmytro Novak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hector Bazkoare hit a great ball. Ramón Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egun Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. William Simão made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ramón Furtado. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Banaszak was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Bazkoare came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gernando Rocha hit a great ball. Egun Pais was a little too slow when Ramón Furtado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 66th minute of the match Floresta Negra FC got a corner. Flamengo FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lokon Pøhl ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Floresta Negra FC's Hector Bazkoare to a score. 2-1 in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Lewandowski came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dmytro Novak came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Jardel Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harris Zoolingen in the 73rd minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Dmytro Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 77th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Dmytro Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dmytro Novak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramón Furtado got free with Egun Pais in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by William Simão with Stefan Banaszak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jardel Lewandowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Banaszak got free with Egun Pais in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
