In the 17th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by İlkan Lefter with Bin Shevchenko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Afonso da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Leite having to interfere. Afonso da Cunha scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fábio Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 46th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Blumenau Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Virgiawan Laturua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgiawan Laturua came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Fábio Leite could save by the left post. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Wlodzimierz Swoboda replaced David Brás. When Eustacio Ikatz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Ikatz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein replaced Emanuele Bertoni. After a rather tough play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Liviu Terzian got a free kick in the 76th minute. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Leite made a huge save. After 84 minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xande Campbell who took care of the corner kick. Zhou Wei Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Leite made a huge save. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhou Wei Fan in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lucas-Ignacio Lugano hit a great ball. Xande Campbell, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Blumenau Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
