After 23 minutes of play, Flamengo FSCMZ's Ramón Furtado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Eduardo Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramón Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Ramón Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Galvão came out of the goal and Ramón Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurinho Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maurinho Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Flamengo FSCMZ's Dmytro Novak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Banaszak to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a huge save. 51 minutes into the match, Stefan Banaszak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Eduardo Galvão, 0-2. Stefan Banaszak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The corner led Flamengo FSCMZ's Clément Labonne to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Eduardo Galvão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dmytro Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Banaszaks short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Luiz Eduardo Galvão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute, Filipe Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Although Aesir FC FSCMZ had been in control for most of the match, Flamengo FSCMZ still came away with the win.
