But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Carlos Leclerc came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's 陶渊伟. But to his dismay, 陶渊伟 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Stefano came free, but Carlos Leclerc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Luis in the 19th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Alfredo Stefano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Leclerc was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Francisco da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tales Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
