Itajaí Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ADM Taquaras the free kick. Beto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Quinto in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Varela came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Conrado Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Tepedino in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Teixeira saved Itajaí Football Club from getting behind. Jeremias Moreno made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Conrado Miranda sent off a good shot on target. Denílson Tepedino took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Teixeira. Beto Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half ADM Taquaras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Tepedino made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Beto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Quinto in the 52nd minute of the match. Beto Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cesar Quinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Áron Bódog came free, but Beto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 70 minutes, Áron Bódog made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mino Nieto's late challenge caught a ADM Taquaras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mino Nieto helped the player get up and apologised. Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Itajaí Football Club from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Bódog in the 81st minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Beto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens Abreu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Afonso Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, 郑常昆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Malcolm Westerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Itajaí Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ADM Taquaras's performance. The match ended with a win for ADM Taquaras.
