With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Furtado in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Azevedo saved SORRISO E. C. from getting behind. Dmytro Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Ramón Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dmytro Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Flamengo FSCMZ's Ramón Furtado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caco Azevedo. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. Murilo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ramón Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Furtado in the 35th minute of the match. Edmílson da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmílson da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Furtado made a kick off. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Furtado came free, but Caco Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clément Labonne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Azevedo having to interfere. Caco Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Furtado in the 68th minute of play. Gustavo Romero hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Arnaud Clément charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. For all the effort they put into the match, the SORRISO E. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo FSCMZ.
