The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Varela. Jorge Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Toledo came free, but Beto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Varela in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Varela. After 20 minutes Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afonso Severo who took care of the corner kick. Itajaí Football Club's Afonso Severo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Loyola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Itajaí Football Club's Jorge Loyola threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Varela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sustrai came free, but Beto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sustrai in the 32nd minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Beto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petter Bivall in the 37th minute. Petter Bivall made a great header on Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 44th minute Cipriano Sustrai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Cipriano Sustrai made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Gero Mitov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Itajaí Football Club made a substitution. Carlos Eduardo da Costa replaced Leonardo Varela. Carlos Eduardo da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jorge Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Sustrai in the 67th minute of play. Hulk Zaracho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Li Wen Mo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Li Wen Mo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Itajaí Football Club's Li Wen Mo got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Cipriano Sustrai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Itajaí Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Rossi to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Lucio Sharkin from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Beto Teixeira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 86 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo da Costa came free, but Jorge Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lucio Sharkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Sharkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Hulk Zaracho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beto Teixeira. That made the score 0-2 in the 89 minute of play. Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cipriano Sustrai 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 96th match minute, Itajaí Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Li Wen Mo to maneuver through the defense.
