Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso da Cunha in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Loyola saved Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Well-Well Junior quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Bivall in the 44th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomil Ziomkowski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gero Mitov. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Afonso da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Bertoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
