To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dmytro Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto De Filippo to maneuver through the defense. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Téo Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Augusto De Filippo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ramón Furtado took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Loyola. Jorge Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Dmytro Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Zaracho in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Sustrai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dmytro Novak. That made the score 3-1 in the 85 minute of play. After 93 minutes, Stefan Banaszak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo FSCMZ and the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Banaszak. Many of Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ may have spent more time on the ball, but Flamengo FSCMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
