Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Gustavo de Amaral in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fırat Aytekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Franco Szczęsny got control of the ball when Dé Töpper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard de Lima made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Karl Valentin. Luís Gustavo de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo de Amaral in the 27th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 37th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Corinthians Paulista fans cheered their team off the field, for while BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
