Minuim SS's Cristiano Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Coutinho in the 38th minute of play. Cristiano Lage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alesandro Coutinho's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Elberg As came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 51 minutes, Alesandro Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville United - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alesandro Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Donatello in the 78th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Minuim SS's Sebastiano Disselkoen in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
