Compostela FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Mané Lara scored to the left of an out of position Cesar Peyo, making the score, 2-0. In the 12thth minute of the game Mané Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Mané Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Compostela FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Peyo should have stopped the shot. If Mané Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 27th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cesar Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Joinville United - FSCMZ were the better team. Joinville United - FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
