In the 18th minute Basílio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Tinoco in the 23rd minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 31st minute of the match Jacuitiba - FSCMZ got a corner. Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Falcão Britto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Marco Vianna got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Falcão Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Donato Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Velloso. Shark FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Basílio Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Glauco Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Silveira came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Basílio Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 70th minute, Márcio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Tinoco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 72nd playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Tinoco got free with Glauco Velloso in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Britto to maneuver through the defense.
