Corinthians Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Cesar Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Peyo. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 15th minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doğuhan Alpaslan in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Cesar Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, S.C. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Niezgoda to make the kick off. Cesar Peyo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 62nd minute S.C. Corinthians Paulista were awarded a corner. Doğuhan Alpaslan went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Nildo Rosa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cesar Peyo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tiburcio Marques sent off a good shot on target. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Valdecir Carlos was substituted for Edgard de Lima. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Compostela FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doğuhan Alpaslan was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Corinthians Paulista's players had a chance to rest. The corner led S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques to a score. 0-7 in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Tiburcio Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cesar Peyo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
