The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pura Arte F.C's Ferris Stock quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomás Gaspar, made in the 10th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Lui Vandré's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Siqueira was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 14th minute Lui Vandré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lui Vandré in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Floripa Lions FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Natã Rossi. Lui Vandré might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Siqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lui Vandré ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lui Vandré came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pura Arte F.C were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Tristan in the 51st minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Siqueira was a little too slow when Kenneth Mager got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 58th minute, Pura Arte F.C's Kenneth Mager dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Lui Vandré who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Evaristo Siqueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lui Vandré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Siqueira having to interfere. If Lui Vandré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lui Vandré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lui Vandré fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Evaristo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferris Stock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lui Vandré in the 90th minute of the match. With his leg Evaristo Siqueira managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Pura Arte F.C's Lui Vandré fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pura Arte F.C played a much better game than Floripa Lions FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
