The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Amerigo Muzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Guimarães in the 36th minute of the match. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Jarbas Paraibano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dadá Macedo, made in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Floripa Lions FSCMZ booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Yuri Reis made the kick off in the second half. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Şakir Aydınoğlu was substituted for Pastor Gitano.
