When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Lui Vandré sped through Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cléber Souza. 26 minutes into the game, Frederico Fontes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Adrianinho Sabóia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The wind increased when Arí Paiva made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hugo Barreto hit a great ball. Cléber Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lui Vandré, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Arí Paiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Rodrigo Vidal however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's zone, Lui Vandré stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléber Souza came out of the goal and Lui Vandré tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Ferris Stock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arí Paiva had several of the Pura Arte F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Rodrigo Vidal as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Cunha got free with Rodrigo Vidal in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pura Arte F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Hugo Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Vidal, making the score, 1-2. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
