When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Edmond Boureau took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Diguinho da Mata to make any attempt to save it. Diguinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Romário, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edmond Boureau could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Diguinho da Mata however easily saved by the left post. 47 minutes into the game, Hernani Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciseski‘s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Romário stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Santana came free, but Faustão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes got control of the ball when Cléber Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Linus Norling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Cléber Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ciseski‘s getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dé Recife hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Cabral got free with Faustão de Moraes in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustão de Moraes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jiang Bin Yao. Dé Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho da Mata having to interfere. Faustão de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber Santana's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Jiang Bin Yao was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Yanniek Van Laeck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diguinho da Mata. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ciseski‘s could leave the field as winners, despite Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ having more of the ball for most of the match.
