After having played for 33 minutes, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 37th minute of play. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arjen Robben in the 39th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gernando Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luiz Eduardo Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zhu Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Lucas having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zhu Zhen came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Hélder Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Stenquist, made in the 75th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Zhu Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Carlos Lucas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Andrey Tzanichev was substituted for Fortunato Froněk. 90 minutes into the game, C.J. 赵云 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gustavo Scarpa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 91 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Recife came free, but Luiz Eduardo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
