In the 6th minute Jamal Roye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irfan Arnawa got free with Peter Lundgren in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Di Angelsø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to São Miguel do Oeste.SC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tanek Kiewra hit a great ball. Honorato Marz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júnior de Moraes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Júnior de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Honorato Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Adilson Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adilson Matorin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Roye in the 53rd minute of play forced B-S-L's goalkeeper Peter Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Marz having to interfere. Guga Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. B-S-L's Nildo Seco was substituted for Adilson Matorin. Di Angelsø kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Amadeu Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B-S-L the free kick. After some careless play in the B-S-L defense, Jamal Roye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Lundgren. The B-S-L fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Lundgren should have stopped the shot. José Pedro Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
