SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Gecionis in the 9th minute of play. Paul Şerbănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Xu Le Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Xu Le Shu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B-S-L's Peter Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xu Le Shu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Lundgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Le Shu ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half SRP-Laguna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

SRP-Laguna's Deivid de Sena was substituted for Rafael Furtado. The wind increased when Xu Le Shu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Xu Le Shu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SRP-Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xu Le Shu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, B-S-L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaşar Nuri Sezer to maneuver through the defense. Emirşah Öktemer struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Peter Lundgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SRP-Laguna. Nildo Seco replaced Sebastião Baiano. SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Isaltino Veloso replaced Vânderson Penha. In the 90th minute SRP-Laguna were awarded a corner. Emirşah Öktemer went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Isaltino Veloso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tansel Tuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Peter Lundgren made a huge save. Peter Lundgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frasier Crane in the 96th minute.
