Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) In the 10thth minute of the game Klevis Selvia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Macedonia's Pejko Dzaferi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Sefedin Gjyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Albania and the U21 Macedonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of U21 Macedonia booed when U21 Albania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sefedin Gjyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Bojan Stojanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lek Kasapi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prohor Gojkovič in the 23rd minute of play forced U21 Albania's goalkeeper Parid Veliaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Frai Shehu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pejko Dzaferi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Albania's Parid Veliaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Dimovski in the 26th minute of play. Klevis Selvia kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Dhori Zhobro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Pejko Dzaferi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Albania. In the 44th minute, Frai Shehu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pejko Dzaferi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dhori Zhobro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Prohor Gojkovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pejko Dzaferi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dhori Zhobro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th match minute, U21 Albania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dashi Çorbaxhiu to maneuver through the defense. When Frai Shehu came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the U21 Albania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frai Shehu couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Prohor Gojkovič took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Parid Veliaj to make any attempt to save it. After 67 minutes, Klevis Selvia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Albania and the U21 Macedonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klevis Selvia kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Parid Veliaj successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 72 played minutes U21 Albania got a freekick which was hit by Gjergji Tedori. In the 73rd minute Stamen Šiškov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parid Veliaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mihail Dimovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dhori Zhobro in the 82nd minute of play forced U21 Macedonia's goalkeeper Pejko Dzaferi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, U21 Macedonia's goal looked a bit too open when Dhori Zhobro came free, but Pejko Dzaferi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastas Mojsovski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dhori Zhobro managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Albania's supporters rose to their feet, but Dhori Zhobro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pejko Dzaferi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pejko Dzaferi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klevis Selvia in the 89th minute of play. If Klevis Selvia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U21 Macedonia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
