Vagnar Tholsted didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Domingues went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute César Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagnar Tholsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, César Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Vagnar Tholsted made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Adam Fărcașu sent off a good shot on target. Alianza FC's César Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adam Fărcașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alianza FC's César Domingues was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Alianza FC's Adam Fărcașu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vagnar Tholsted made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Vagnar Tholsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Leopoldo Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagnar Tholsted having to interfere. Orkatz Remolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Hegnsbøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute César Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagnar Tholsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Baran Gayret dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vagnar Tholsted, 5-0. Vagnar Tholsted was a little too slow when César Domingues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 6-0. Vagnar Tholsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Fărcașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Reno Chavarria made a great header on Alianza FC's corner, it was just that Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Domingues in the 51st minute of play. After 55 minutes, César Domingues made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vagnar Tholsted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Lupo in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Domingues in the 65th minute of play forced Dynamo Brabrand's goalkeeper Vagnar Tholsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dynamo Brabrand getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Vinzent Soubak hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Dynamo Brabrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Brødslev to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes, Alianza FC's Reno Chavarria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vagnar Tholsted came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alianza FC reached it. Marin Ciprian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's Adam Fărcașu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vagnar Tholsted narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dynamo Brabrand's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reno Chavarria was slow to take the kick. During this time Alianza FC's players had a chance to rest. Adam Fărcașu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vagnar Tholsted having to make a save. Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ciprian in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Kim Supensteiner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Brabrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza FC the free kick. 79 minutes into the match, Dynamo Brabrand's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Ciprian came free, but Vagnar Tholsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vagnar Tholsted stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Ciprian's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. There was no doubt that Alianza FC were the better team. Alianza FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
