Czeslaw Czajkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mihály Matolcsy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czeslaw Czajkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Czeslaw Czajkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Matolcsy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Czajkowski came free, but Mihály Matolcsy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Beti to maneuver through the defense. If Czeslaw Czajkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Halcones Azules's Mihály Matolcsy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Halcones Azules defense, Tuncay Kutel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihály Matolcsy. The Halcones Azules fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihály Matolcsy should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihály Matolcsy saved Halcones Azules from getting behind. Mihály Matolcsy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Örtendal in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

51 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Czajkowski came free, but Mihály Matolcsy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goalkeeper Mihály Matolcsy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Örtendal. Mihály Matolcsy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Örtendal in the 94th minute. Mihály Matolcsy was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Czeslaw Czajkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Czeslaw Czajkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7.
