After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Czeslaw Czajkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åstäppa FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Czajkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Font breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åstäppa FK's Charles Hughes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Åstäppa FK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Tytus Jeziorkowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Charles Hughes however easily saved by the left post. If Tytus Jeziorkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Åstäppa FK's Czeslaw Czajkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Font narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Czeslaw Czajkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Font saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Åstäppa FK's Joe Gort got a free kick in the 40th minute. A hard shot 41 in the game by Tytus Jeziorkowski from a close distance when the talented Charles Hughes managed to make a qualified save. Åstäppa FK's players were relieved. Charles Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Wysocki in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to ↖ Sagittarius ↗ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dariusz Soroka hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Per-Arne Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åstäppa FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Alströmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Czeslaw Czajkowski made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Åstäppa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Wysocki came free, but Charles Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Tytus Jeziorkowski made a precise shot to the right of Charles Hughes. Åstäppa FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Czeslaw Czajkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Modesto Font was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wieslaw Kosowski kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Modesto Font made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncay Kutel in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goalkeeper Modesto Font had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Czeslaw Czajkowski. Åstäppa FK's Charles Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Wysocki in the 89th minute of play. Tytus Jeziorkowski struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Charles Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ↖ Sagittarius ↗. Modesto Font made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Czeslaw Czajkowski sent off a good shot on target. Many of Åstäppa FK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Åstäppa FK may have spent more time on the ball, but ↖ Sagittarius ↗ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
