The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Hanni in the 4th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Manantiales Fc were awarded a corner. Isidro Cresencio went to the cornerflag to take it. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Ronaldo in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Manantiales Fc's attentive Ulises Bernad managed to snatch the ball when Jaime Mundo made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Leopoldo Lastur made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Federico Hanni sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Manantiales Fc's Ronaldo Ronaldo got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gaspar Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Ronaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Hanni in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Lastur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 28 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Ronaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leopoldo Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Hanni came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leopoldo Lastur could save by the left post. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manantiales Fc's Federico Hanni got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Hannis short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Leopoldo Lastur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Ronaldo Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Ronaldo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Federico Hanni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Lastur having to make a save. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Peyo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Federico Hanni made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Federico Hanni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ronaldo Ronaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Lastur having to interfere. Manantiales Fc made a substitution. Aaron Anselmino replaced Ulises Bernad. Federico Hanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Hanni in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Lastur saved Leones FC from getting behind. Ronaldo Ronaldo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 82nd minute, Federico Hanni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Hanni in the 86th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Manantiales Fc booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Godfredo Ascencio hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Ronaldo Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manantiales Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Aurelio Aragones hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Manantiales Fc were the better team. Manantiales Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
