Virgilio Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Ariel Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Jatsu in the 8th minute of play. Copérnico F.C. were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Villa Mitre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ariel Delfino took the corner. In the 18thth minute of the game Manuel Jatsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Jatsu in the 23rd minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ariel Delfino was slow to take the kick. During this time Copérnico F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 25th minute, Octavio Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Villa Mitre got a corner. Copérnico F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Admon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Copérnico F.C.'s goalie and right to Ramiro Jerano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Copérnico F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 33 minutes of play, Copérnico F.C.'s Manuel Jatsu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Sotil was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Jatsu came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Manuel Jatsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Copérnico F.C.'s Manuel Jatsu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Sotil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Mateo made a kick off. If Manuel Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Virgilio Sotil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manuel Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. Copérnico F.C.'s Alvaro Montrell was substituted for Lucas Luar. Copérnico F.C.'s Paolo Kinsen was substituted for Manuel Jatsu. 62 minutes into the match, Ariel Delfino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil. Virgilio Sotil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amadeo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
