Gaudencio Joseph was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Justo Segio. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Chipa y Tereré's zone, Jerônimo Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Sidro came out of the goal and Jerônimo Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Olari Mõniste made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Chipa y Tereré's zone, Ben Gant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Sidro came out of the goal and Ben Gant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Froilan Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ulises Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Martins in the 75th minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Ulises Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
